Dunes – Reserva Marina
Circular and enriching, this route begins on the beach of Cala Mesquida, crossing the wooden walkway between the dunes. We advance to the wall that separates the area from Son Jaumell, where we take a small path on the left. Following the signposts, we ascend the north face of the Son Jaumell mountain to the watchtower, offering a unique panoramic view (ascent with challenging slopes and rocky terrain).
At the summit, you have two options for descending: retrace the previous path or go down the west face of the mountain, leading to the Coll de Marina (route 1.1). When you reach the pass, turn right towards Cala Mesquida. Punta des Boc – Reserva Marina
A circular experience that starts from Cala Mesquida and arrives at Cala Torta. From the Cala Mesquida promenade (information panel), we head towards the sea, where we find some stairs on the left. When we climb them, we arrive at a small square from where a walk along the sea begins. At the end of this walk, we continue along a path that follows the rocky and irregular coastline, until we reach Cala Torta. The return is made by continuing towards the exit of the cove, in the direction of Artà. Before reaching the road, we take a signposted path to the left, which runs through a pine forest. Walking on sand and stones, we arrive at the Cala Mesquida area, in front of the roundabout. We take the street that takes us to the beach. Cala Moltó – Coll de Marina
A circular route that starts from the Cala Agulla roundabout and crosses the entire beach to the pine forest area at the back. We ascend along the Coll de Marina path, leaving on our right the idyllic Cala Moltó with its crystalline waters. About 500 meters away, we find a detour to the right, marking the true ascent through the interior of the forest until we reach the Talaia de Son Jaumell.
On the return, along the north face, the first section of descent presents some very difficult ramps, so the use of mountain shoes is essential. The beautiful downhill path takes us to the beach of Cala Mesquida. From there, we take the path to the left, which guides us back to Cala Agulla through the same Coll de Marina. Cala Moltó – Coll de Marina
A route that starts from the Cala Agulla roundabout and completely crosses the beach until entering the wooded area at the bottom. Upon arrival, we take the Coll de Marina path, leaving on the right the charming Cala Moltó (or l’Agulló) with its crystal clear waters. We continue ascending gently along the Coll de Marina path.
About 50 meters from it, we find a signposted detour to the right, which runs through the interior of the forest with some ascent and descent ramps. This path finally takes us to the lonely and virgin cove of Na Llòbrega, where we can enjoy an idyllic swim. It should be noted that dogs are allowed on this beach. Castell – Cementiri – Centre Històric
This route starts in front of the Center Cap Vermell in Cala Rajada, right next to the hardware store. It is a circular route to Capdepera that offers visitors the opportunity to explore various points of interest in the municipality. From agricultural fields to the 13th century Castle, passing through the Center Melis-Cursach (former pharmacy-museum), the historic center, the local Wednesday market, the squares and local life, and even the cemetery.
Along this varied route, visitors can enjoy various pleasures, such as buying fresh fruits at the market, purchasing a ‘senalla’ (an emblematic product of traditional crafts made from palm heart), having a coffee with milk or enjoying a refreshing ‘llet freda’ (meringed milk) accompanied by a delicious ensaimada. Cala Moltó – Coll de Marina
Route 7 begins at the Cala Agulla roundabout, in Cala Rajada. We cross the entire beach until we reach the wooded area at the bottom, where we find the beautiful Cala Moltó, a privileged cove with crystal-clear waters. After leaving it behind, we embarked on a long path with a gradual but continuous ascent known as Coll de Marina.
Approximately 1 km and reaching the highest point of the trail next to a lime kiln, we find a clearly marked detour to the left. Here, we begin the real ascent through the interior of the forest until we reach the top of Puig de s’Àguila, from where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views. Since the ascent has some somewhat difficult ramps, the use of appropriate footwear is recommended. The descent is done along the same path. Cala Moltó – Coll de Marina
This circular route, which starts at the Cala Agulla roundabout, takes you through the historic ‘forns de calç’, old kilns where lime was produced in times past. Following the complete contour of the Cala Agulla beach until we reach the wooded area at the bottom and the charming Cala Moltó with its crystal-clear waters, we begin a path with a gentle ascent known as Coll de Marina.
Approximately 50 meters, we find a clearly indicated detour to the right. We take a path that goes into the forest and, after about 100 meters and on a slope, we turn left, completely submerging ourselves in the most lush forest. Here, we find up to 8 lime kilns one after another. At certain times, this route intersects with route 1.1 of the Coll de Marina, so it is advisable to follow the indicative signs. Cala Roja – Cap des Pinar
This route explores the coast between Canyamel and the Costa dels Pins viewpoint, offering the option of returning along the same path or exploring the mountain, although this last part lacks signage. From els Pins de ses Vegues, the route begins in the direction of the roundabout at the entrance to the town. From there, we headed towards the residential area, crossing it completely. Upon reaching the end of the urban area, we enter a forest in a steep area that takes us to the Costa dels Pins viewpoint. This section presents some difficulty due to the irregularity of the terrain.
The return down the mountain begins from the viewpoint towards the golf course, where we take a path to the right. We used some red dots as a reference for the trail signage. Esta ruta conecta Sa Font de Sa Cala y Capdepera, atravesando las montañas que las separan y ofreciendo la oportunidad de disfrutar de la flora y fauna autóctonas. Desde Sa Font de Sa Cala, el recorrido comienza en la playa, tomando la dirección de Capdepera por la calle principal. A unos 500 metros, en la altura de na Taconera, giramos a la izquierda, explorando las calles del Xiprell y más adelante, de s’Arbocera. Estas calles nos llevan a un camino o sendero que asciende hasta el collado de s’Heretat, con tramos que presentan cierta dificultad y requieren la indumentaria y el calzado adecuados. Desde este collado, se obtienen vistas espectaculares de toda la comarca, especialmente del castillo y la costa.

Cala Torta – Camí de Ses Costellades
This exciting route extends from Cala Mesquida beach to Sa Mesquida de Dalt, offering the possibility of connecting with the route that leads to Capdepera. From the information panel, we headed in the opposite direction of the sea to the beginning of the promenade and then to the junction at the entrance to the core. As we enter the forest, we follow a path that covers varied terrain (dirt, sand, rock) with some ramps, finally taking us to the virgin cove of Cala Torta.
Once in this idyllic place, we take a signposted path to the left (GR222) and, a few kilometers later, we join the route known as “Red Eléctrica”. This trail winds between mountains and native vegetation. Upon reaching the ridge, we descend on the other side until we reach Mesquida de Dalt. Torrent de Canyamel
This captivating route connects the Canyamel Tower with the Maians-Capdepera route, starting from the 13th century medieval defense tower, in Gothic style. We begin by leaving on the road in the direction of Artà, and just 300 meters away, we find on the right the beginning of a rural route along dirt roads that takes us through the fertile valley of Canyamel, accompanied at various points by the torrent. This stretch offers an excellent opportunity to capture images of native flora and fauna.
When connecting with the circular route of na Maians, we are presented with the option of heading to Capdepera turning right, passing through the areas of Can Planetes and Son Febrer, or continuing towards the Greenway following the path straight ahead. Son Terrassa – Son Barbassa
This fascinating route runs between Capdepera and Sa Mesquida de Dalt, offering the possibility of connecting, if desired, with Cala Torta or even Cala Mesquida. Starting from Plaza de l’Orient, in the heart of Capdepera, we pass in front of the church (Ciutat street), go down the slope and turn right (Nord street) and then continue on the left (Roses street) until we reach to the roundabout at the entrance to the town. From here, we take the na Gambusina path to the right, following the milestones, until we reach Camí Reial.
This old and narrow path of dirt and stones has for centuries connected all the ‘possessions’ in the area with Capdepera and Artà, and between them, highlighting places such as Son Terrassa or Son Barbassa. About 100 meters away, at the height of Carrer de Sa Gatova (Avenida de las Palmeras), we turn left, exploring some dirt roads. These paths, upon reaching an open barrier, take us to a path that, bordering the golf course in some sections, guides us to the Claper des Gegants or Talaiot de s’Heretat, a Talayotic site located on the Puig de hill. sa Tortuga, in the Canyamel valley.

This captivating circular route takes us through an extensive rural area, starting from Capdepera to na Maians through the Molí Vell, passing through the sa Farinera torrent and returning back to Capdepera through Can Planetes and Son Febrer (or vice versa). We started our march from Plaza de l’Orient, in the heart of Capdepera. We head to the roundabout that leads to the exit of the town towards Artà, walking along Center, Ciutat, Nord and Roses streets. From the roundabout, we continue towards the estate gardens, crossing them and reaching the beginning of the rural roads.
Along the route, you can find flocks of sheep, almond trees in bloom, donkeys and small birds of prey, so it is recommended not to forget your camera. In addition, this route allows hikers to connect with the Canyamel Valley and the Greenway. Discover the serenity of rural life and natural beauties in every step of this unique experience. This route establishes a connection between the Na Maians route, from sa Farinera, and the Greenway in Artà. It guides us from the humid area of the sa Farinera torrent, passing through So Na Sopa, to the Green Corridor, which links Artà and Manacor. This corridor follows the route of the old railway that connected the eastern end of the island of Mallorca. The result is an easy and safe path that crosses the interior of the island, alternating areas of traditional agriculture and the characteristic Mediterranean forest of the hills that the train followed in its search for the flattest route.
In reality, route 16 provides the opportunity for hikers who use the old train track, coming from Manacor, Sant Llorenç, Son Carrió, Son Servera or Artà, to connect with all the routes in our municipality.
