ROUTE 2
Cala Mesquida – Talaia Son Jaumell – Cala Mesquida
This route is circular. It begins on the beach at Cala Mesquida where we take the wooden walkway through the dunes. From there we continue until we reach the old wall separating this sector from the area around Son Jaumell, where we turn left along a narrow path. We follow the pale blue markers which lead us up the northern face of the hill right up to the tower of Son Jaumell with its unique panoramic view.
(This ascent includes a few fairly difficult slopes and the ground is very stony.) From the tower we have two options for the descent: we can go back the way we came or continue down the western side of the hill, which takes us to Coll de Marina (route 1.1). We then follow this track to the right and it takes us back to Cala Mesquida.
