FONT DE SA CALA

Discover a Paradise

Font de Sa Cala is a small and picturesque residential neighbourhood close to the tourist resort of Cala Ratjada. Enclosed in an area surrounded by thick pine forest on the left and with many green zones, it is a suitable venue for the tourist who is looking for quiet, relaxing holidays, with the added benefit of the pretty beach with its white sand and crystal-clear water. Very close by is also the little bay called Cala de n’Aladern, reached along a quite path by the sea.The name of Font de Sa Cala is due to its two freshwater springs, one which gave the place its name and the other which wells up in the sea, making the water here cooler and less salty. The location is connected to Cala Ratjada 3 km distant by a local bus service and the tourist “mini-train”.
