ROUTE 11

Cala Mesquida – Ses Costellades

This route leads from the beach at Cala Mesquida to Sa Mesquida de Dalt, where it is possible to connect up with the route that goes down to Capdepera, if desired. From the information board we head away from the sea to the top of the promenade and from there to the crossroads at the entrance to the residential area.

We cross into a wooded area and follow a track with different ground conditions (earth, sand, rock) and a few steeper sections that will lead us to the unspoilt bay of Cala Torta. When we arrive there we take a track marked off to the left that winds between hills and indigenous vegetation, mainly scrub. It is a path through “a different world” that takes us up through the range of hills called Ses Costellades until we can see over the other side.
