XXXI Llampuga Fair
Every year, in October, Cala Ratjada is filled with flavour and tradition with the Llampuga Fair, an essential event in the calendar of our municipality. The town’s port is the perfect setting to celebrate the culinary richness of the llampuga, a seasonal fish that is highly prized in Mediterranean gastronomy.
Culinary tapas competition
One of the most awaited moments of the fair is the tapas competition, where numerous local restaurants present their best creations with llampuga as the protagonist. Every year, chefs compete to surprise the juries with innovative and traditional recipes. From cold, fresh tapas to hot dishes that explode with flavour, the competition demonstrates the versatility of this fish and the culinary creativity of the people.

On Sunday we highlight the tour of the different stands of the local restaurants. Each of them presented their own interpretation of llampuga, surprising attendees with a wide variety of dishes. From traditional recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation, to modern and innovative creations, llampuga shines as the main ingredient.
In the evening, after a day full of flavours, the Cala Ratjada sky lights up with a fireworks display. This moment is the perfect ending to another edition of the Llampuga Fair. The bright lights reflect on the sea and the boats, creating a magical scene.
