Capdepera is one of the three places on Mallorca that is home to this straw, which is the basis for a wide variety of products made by braiding its dry leaves .
The well known Mallorcan baskets called senallas, hats, adornments…. Another option is footwear, with a complete leather industry in Mallorca that also brings from Menorca the typical sandals known as aubarcas. There are also textile products from the Balearics that use Ibizan fashion as a reference point.
