Take a stroll through the fishing harbour. The most picturesque moment is at twilight when the fishing boats come home with a following of raucous seagulls to unload their catch and spread their nets out along the pier.
The harbour is the most colourful and lively part of town. Cala Ratjada has changed over the years from a tiny fishing hamlet into an important summer holiday centre. But in spite of the development of tourism, the harbour still retains its original charm. A stroll very popular among the local inhabitants takes you along the pier to watch the fishers working on their boats and nets and then up onto the sea wall, where you can let all your senses be flooded with the real taste of the sea.
