SNORKELLING ACTIVITIES IN THE MARINE RESERVE

Discover crystal clear waters along the coast

If you imagine snorkellingin Paradise, it would be here in Cala Ratjada, Canyamel, Font de Sa Cala and Cala Mesquida. There are countless little hidden spots where crystal-clear waters lap the shoreline and where you will find some of the most attractive underwater scenery in the Mediterranean. Lovers of free diving will be impressed by the wide variety of species. There is no need to have authorisation for snorkelling or free diving with minimum equipment in the marine reserve.

The best places for this activity are where the water is not very deep, for example in Cala Gat or in the most highly recommended and famous local area of Cala Lliteras, where there is a wide variety of underwater flora and fauna.

The Mero Diving Centre, which has had its base there since 1969, provides organised trips every day out to the diving locations that are not accessible from land.
