Capdepera has two quite distinct and equally magical faces that bring our guests back again. By day we have a natural paradise, the white sand and endless transparent water act like a magnet, but as soon as the sun starts to go down. Cala Ratjada is well known for its sophisticated and attractive night-time atmosphere with a wide range of places to have a good time.
In the summer nights the harbour and sea front fill up with people drawn by the sea breeze, the terraces offering refreshments and the little weekly evening market. The fantastic atmosphere encourages people to while away the time in the terraces and bars until the early hours of the morning.
The night life is mainly distributed along the promenade, where there is an enormous choice of pubs, bars and restaurants. Many of them were once the homes of fishermen that have been transformed over the years into and offer a wide variety of styles and facilities so that there is something to suit every taste and age. A number of these bars and restaurants have the added attraction of live music (chill out, jazz, blues, rock…).
The main street Leonor Servera and the streets than run parallel to it as well as the avenue that heads out towards Cala Agulla also have many places with comfortable and attractive terraces, restaurants or places to go for a drink. Just a short way from the sea front promenade is another epicentre of the night life: the discos and surrounding bars, always at the forefront of musical activity.
