COLL DES RACÓ
Cala Mitjana – Cala Ratjada
A fabulous route, this is pure joy for every biker. We meander through the woods with plenty of side trips to beaches and secluded little coves with clear turquoise water, along tracks surrounded by pine trees, dwarf palms and yellow gorse. In springtime this route will enliven all your senses. The most impressive section is along the path “Camí des Racó”, which joins up with the track to Cala Mitjana and takes us up to a property dating from the 15th century (Restaurant),
located on top of a hill with views out over the nature reserve Parc de Llevant. At the top we pass the gates that give access to the asphalt road leading down to Artá. We cycle a little way along the “Via Verde”, the old railway line, before detouring to the road to Canyamel. We border the golf course to descend to Cala Provençals and Font de Sa Cala on our way back to Cala Ratjada. We promise you will love this route.
