Cala Ratjada – Es Puig de s’Àguila
The picturesque fishing harbour of Cala Ratjada is the starting point for this route which crosses the pretty beach at Cala Gat before climbing the rocky coast up to the lighthouse. On a clear day the wonderful views reach as far as the island of Menorca. We pass the old tower Esbucada (13th century) and take a steep rocky trail that is quite tricky down to l’Olla,
a tiny enclosed bay like a natural swimming pool with very salty water. From here we head along the coast to Cala Lliteras and via the coastal promenade and the beach of Cala Agulla we reach Cala Moltó. The track leads up towards Cala Mesquida with fun paths that zigzag through the trees along the hillside of “Es Puig de s’Aguila”. The trip will delight the heart of every biker.
