COVA NEGRA
Cala Agulla – Puig de Sa Cova Negra
This tour takes us to a location with breathtaking views over this part of the eastern side of the island, combining two very different degrees of difficulty. From the point of departure in the woods behind Cala Agulla we first ascend the hill “Puig de s’Àguila”, and then cycle up “Puig de sa Cova Negra” along a steep asphalt road to the top, where there is an enormous radar antenna.
On the way down we can enjoy the amazing scenery and views until we reach an extremely steep and very difficult section of the track, where in case of doubt it is best to get off the bike and proceed on foot. A little further on the track becomes normal again and we descend to Sa Pedruscada. We return to Cala Ratjada along the coastal track called Sendero de las Pitas.
