The spectacular gardens and the sumptuous house were the property of an important banker by the name of Juan March,
who also owned large collections of 20th Century sculptures. The paths leading through the landscaped gardens that surround the mansion take you past most of the collection of sculptures. The gardens are open to the public and an important attraction. It is necessary to book in advance to visit the gardens.
