Cala Moltó is situated at three kilometres from Cala Ratjada. This beach, Cala Agulla and Cala Mesquida were declared in 1991 Àrea Natural d’Especial Interès by the Parlament de les Illes Balears.
This quite small coastal area is located behind Punta des Gulló, and it has a characteristic shape and a rocky ground. This natural setting is only spoilt by some escars and a bunker of the Civil War, the rest takes the visitor back to the paradise of quiet isolation surrounded by some pine trees shaped by the wind. These characteristics and the accessibility explain that the beach is not very crowded by local visitors and tourists, and nudism is normal. From Cala Moltó you can start a 10 kilometres walk between pine trees and scrubland toward Cala Mesquida.
