TALAIOT “THE GIANT’S PILE OF STONES”
ONE OF THE ISLAND’S PREHISTORIC SETTLEMENTS
Step back into ancient history among the ruins of the old talaiotic settlement known as Es Claper des Gegants.
Built some 3000 years ago, it consists of various talaiots, circular, rectangular and oval-shaped rooms protected by an outer wall with a number of gates. There are also some small buildings outside the wall. It is located close to Canyamel and easy to access.
